June 2006: SolidView Version 2006.1
SolidView Version 2006.1 is an enhancement release that also incorporates a number of error corrections. The following revisions have been made in this update:
- New 3D Text Feature
- New Assembly Tree export function
- Support for Unigraphics NX 3 parts and assemblies
- Assembly Component Search
- STL Color Import and Export Options
- The Granite One Pro/E and STEP interfaces have been updated
- Clear Objects now works for multiple selected objects or groups
- A problem in Modify | Move where The Undo feature was missing if a move value was specified has been corrected

The new release of SolidView, SolidView 2002 is available.
SolidView Version 2002 is a major enhancement release that also incorporates
a number of revisions. SolidView/Lite, SolidView, SolidView/Pro and SolidView/Pro
RP are all included in this new release. Version 2002 includes changes that
impact all of the SolidView products. The SolidView Solid File exchange
(SFX) format has been modified in Version 2002. SFX files created in Version
2002 are not viewable in previous versions of SolidView.
New features incorporated in SolidView
2002 are:
- Auto Update - Automatically update your SolidView software over the Internet
- Paint Tool - Apply colors to objects, surfaces, faces and triangles
- Directory Watch Server - Configure SolidView/Pro to automatically generate SFX and other files from native CAD data
- Batch Converter - Convert CAD data into SFX and other formats using batch commands
- Selected Object Display - Change the way selected objects are highlighted
- Welcome SFX - See what's new with SolidView

The new SolidView/Pro, Pro/E module has been released. This new interface is based on the Granite One interoperability platform developed by PTC. It will support the lateset versions of Pro/E, including 2001. Granite One will also support assemblies. Also, from now until October 31, 2001, if you purchase any one SolidView/Pro CAD interface at the regular price, you can purchase unlimited additional CAD interfaces for the same SolidView/Pro license at 50% off.
